Most trips start at an airport or railway station: Bagdogra or NJP for Sikkim and Darjeeling, Guwahati for Meghalaya, Assam and Arunachal, Imphal or Dimapur for Manipur and Nagaland. From there we drive you to Gangtok, Shillong, Kaziranga, Imphal or wherever your trip goes next.
Some places need permits. Nathula and North Sikkim need protected area permits, and Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram and Manipur need an Inner Line Permit for visitors from outside the state.
