About this Package
Explore the beauty of North East India with this 4-day tour package that takes you to the most popular destinations in the region. The tour starts in Guwahati, the largest city in Assam, and takes you to Bomdila, Tawang, and Kaziranga National Park.
Day 1: Guwahati On the first day, you will arrive in Guwahati and check into your hotel. After freshening up, you will visit some of the popular tourist spots in the city such as the Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple, and the Assam State Museum. In the evening, you can take a stroll along the Brahmaputra River and enjoy the sunset.
Day 2: Guwahati - Bomdila On the second day, you will leave for Bomdila, a hill station located in the West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. On the way, you will pass through the beautiful Sessa Orchid Sanctuary and the Tipi Orchid Sanctuary. After reaching Bomdila, you can visit the Bomdila Monastery, the War Memorial, and the craft center.
Day 3: Bomdila - Tawang On the third day, you will leave for Tawang, a small town located in the western part of Arunachal Pradesh. Tawang is known for its beautiful landscapes, monasteries, and waterfalls. You can visit the Tawang Monastery, the largest Buddhist monastery in India and the War Memorial. You can also visit the PT Tso Lake, which is a beautiful natural lake located near the town.
Day 4: Tawang - Kaziranga On the fourth and final day, you will leave for Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the state of Assam. The park is famous for its one-horned rhinoceroses and you can take an elephant safari or a jeep safari to spot them. You can also visit the Kohora Orchid and Biodiversity Park, the Eastern Range and the Western Range.
In the evening, you will be dropped off at Guwahati airport/railway station for your return journey.
