About this Package
Assam, a state in northeastern India, is known for its lush green landscapes, diverse cultures, and rich wildlife. Our Guwahati - Kaziranga - Majuli - Shillong - Cherrapunji tour package offers you the opportunity to experience the best of what this region has to offer.
The tour begins in Guwahati, the largest city in Assam and the gateway to the rest of the state. Guwahati is a bustling metropolis, with a rich cultural heritage and plenty of temples, museums, and markets to explore.
Next, we take a drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important wildlife sanctuaries in the world. The park is home to the largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as other rare and endangered species such as elephants, tigers, and water buffaloes.
After Kaziranga, we take a ferry to Majuli, the largest river island in the world and the cultural heart of Assam. Majuli is home to many tribal communities, and here you can experience the traditional way of life and witness the unique art and craft of the island.
Next, we head to Shillong, the "Scotland of the East" and the capital of Meghalaya. Shillong is a hill station with a cool climate, beautiful waterfalls, and stunning views of the surrounding valleys.
Finally, we end the tour in Cherrapunji, known for its heavy rainfall and as one of the wettest places on earth, Cherrapunji is home to many waterfalls, caves, and limestone bridges.
With this tour package, you will experience the best of Assam's natural beauty, culture, and wildlife, making it an unforgettable trip.
