About this Package

The tour begins in Haridwar, one of the seven holiest places in Hinduism. Here, you will have the opportunity to take a dip in the holy Ganges river and participate in the evening aarti ceremony, where thousands of diyas (earthen lamps) are lit and offered to the river. You can also visit the famous Har Ki Pauri ghat, the main ghat in Haridwar, where the Ganges enters the plains.



Next, the tour will take you to Gangotri, the source of the Ganges river and one of the four Char Dhams, a group of four holiest Hindu temples. You can take a trek to Gaumukh, the actual source of the Ganges, and visit the Gangotri Temple, dedicated to the goddess Ganga. The town of Gangotri is also surrounded by beautiful mountains and waterfalls, making it a great spot for nature lovers.



Finally, the tour will take you to Rudraprayag, where the Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers meet to form the river Ganges. Here, you can visit the Rudranath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the Chamunda Devi Temple, dedicated to the goddess Kali.
