About this Package

Welcome to the Patna-Nalanda-Patna tour package!



Patna, the capital of Bihar, is a city steeped in history and culture. The city was once the center of power for the mighty Magadha Empire and has been an important center for Buddhism, Jainism, and Hinduism.



The first stop on our tour will be the Patna Museum, where you can see a wide variety of historical artifacts, including sculptures, inscriptions, and coins from ancient times. We will also visit the famous Golghar, a large granary built by the British in 1786 that offers a panoramic view of the city.



Next, we will head to the ancient city of Nalanda, located about 90 kilometers from Patna. Nalanda is known for its rich cultural and historical heritage, and is home to the ruins of the ancient Nalanda University, which was one of the earliest universities in the world. The university was a center of learning for over 800 years and attracted students and scholars from across the globe.



We will explore the ruins of the university, including the main stupa, the monasteries, and the temples. We will also visit the Nalanda Archaeological Museum, which houses a collection of ancient artifacts and manuscripts.



After our visit to Nalanda, we will return to Patna for a delicious traditional lunch.
